About the Role

We are actively recruiting a Clinical Psychologist for our Ocala, FL market. This is a hospital-based consulting role working across two acute care hospitals, with significant autonomy and the opportunity to build deep clinical relationships across departments. We’re looking for someone who enjoys complex cases, values collaboration, and can provide thoughtful, timely support in acute medical environments. This is a unique opportunity in an acute care setting to become integrated with the broader care team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological consultations across departments including trauma, emergency, neurology, and general medicine
  • Conduct Baker Act evaluations, brief assessments, and light psychological testing
  • Develop and implement treatment recommendations in coordination with the medical team
  • Maintain timely documentation in the EHR and participate in interdisciplinary case discussions
  • Build relationships with attending physicians, case managers, and hospital staff to support integrated care delivery

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Active Florida licensure as a psychologist
  • Experience with inpatient populations preferred
  • Comfortable conducting evaluations, brief therapy, and light testing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Solid understanding of psychiatric medications and medical comorbidities is a plus
