About the Role

IPS is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our outpatient practice in Augusta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to provide individual and group therapy in a supportive clinic-based setting. You'll work with patients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment challenges, and other behavioral health needs in a non-crisis environment focused on continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and deliver individual and/or group therapy
  • Create and manage evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient goals
  • Collaborate with IPS team members and referring providers to ensure holistic care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
  • Engage patients in ongoing therapeutic relationships and monitor clinical progress
  • Support clinical initiatives and participate in peer consultation as needed
     

Qualifications

  • Active Georgia license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMSW
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field
  • 2+ years of experience in outpatient, community mental health, or similar settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and Google Workspace
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
