IPS is a Georgia and Florida based healthcare organization that provides mental health services to local healthcare facilities including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and long-term acute care centers. 

The Remote Therapist position is focused on therapeutic work with children and adolescents. The expectation is that the therapist will be doing therapy via telehealth and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective individual and group counseling/therapy to children and adolescents in schools and youth development programs.
  • Manage complex behavioral and psychosocial needs to facilitate optimal clinical outcomes
  • Record and input detailed patient notes into an electronic medical record system while developing or maintaining treatment plans. 
  • Collaborate with the IPS care team to ensure a comprehensive approach
  • Dedicate consistent time on a weekly basis for appointment scheduling, preferably after school hours.

  

Requirements:

  • Active Florida license as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),  Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • 1+ years of experience working with children and adolescents
  • 1+ years of experience as LCSW, LMHC, LPC, or LMFT
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong propensity to engage with patients and create a restorative care environment
  • Master’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field

What we offer:

  • A competitive rate ranging between $42-$47 an hour
  • No managing billing! (handled by IPS)
  • No case management!

This position is a PRN/Part-Time role that requires evening and/or weekend availability.
