Integrated Psych Solutions is hiring for a full-time neuropsychologist or medical psychologist to provide IP Medical Services with the potential for Psychology Director responsibilities depending on desire and experience. This position is suitable for early career or mid-career applicants. Clinical responsibilities include providing services to a Level I Trauma Unit (related to TBI, musculo-skeletal injury, dementia, cognitive impairment, and/or psychological trauma, etc.). Services would involve evaluation, testing, and managing and directing IPS therapy staff for appropriate follow-up treatment. It would also involve providing evaluations for Baker Act (involuntary psych commitment) and Marchman Act (involuntary substance abuse commitment), Substance Abuse evaluation, as well as Consultation and Liaison services for Neuropsych/Cognitive evals on various medical floors throughout the hospital.

 

The position would lead to a Director of Psychology role with a leadership position overseeing psychology operations in Ocala, Florida, ensuring high-quality services and programs while providing guidance and support to our talented team of clinicians. This role will provide strategic leadership for the department, managing clinical operations, staff, and resources, maintaining and improving clinical standards, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines.

 

This position requires a licensed psychologist who is committed to promoting mental wellness and developing innovative programs for diverse populations. License-eligible applicants are encouraged to apply now with the knowledge the start date of employment requires a valid Florida license.

Requirements:

  •  Active license as a PhD or PsyD with requisite state eligibility
  • Completion of Doctoral Program with training in Assessment and/or Neuropsychology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of analytical ability to manage multiple services
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in individual, group, couples, and family psychology
  • Experience in medical trauma preferred
